Cookies

A cookie is a small file that a website saves in your browser. This page says which cookies SafeStaff uses and why. It follows the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.

1. This website

This website sets no cookies. It has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels. That is why you did not see a cookie banner.

The fonts on this site come from Google Fonts. Google does not set a cookie for this, but your browser sends your IP address to Google when it fetches the fonts. The privacy notice explains this.

2. The learning platform

When you buy or take the course, you use the SafeStaff learning platform. It uses only the cookies it cannot work without. The law calls these “strictly necessary” cookies, and they do not need your consent.

3. If this changes

If I ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics, I will ask for your consent first and update this page. You will be able to say no, and the site will still work.

4. How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the learning platform's cookies, you will not be able to sign in or pay. The Information Commissioner's Office explains cookies in plain words at ico.org.uk/for-the-public/online/cookies.
